I think that headline pretty much says it all.

The Oklahoma City Thunder need a break.

Unfortunately, that break cannot quite come soon enough.

The Thunder lost another bad game last night, this time falling on the road to the Golden State Warriors.

I'm not saying that the Warriors are a bad team. I'm actually typing that. I'm kidding. They are not a terrible team, not at home, at least.

It is not the team that the Thunder lost to that is quite bothersome, but rather how they gave this one away that is the most troubling.

Take a look at some of these statistics from last night's defeat, but be forewarned. They are not pretty, and the following material may not be suitable for everyone:

FIELD GOALS MADE: Oklahoma City 31 -- Golden State 43

FIELD GOALS ATTEMPTED: Oklahoma City 59 -- Golden State 99

OFFENSIVE REBOUNDS: Oklahoma City 2 -- Golden State 20

TOTAL REBOUNDS: Oklahoma City 33 -- Golden State 47

TEAM ASSISTS: Oklahoma City 15 -- Golden State 28

TURNOVERS: Oklahoma City 20 -- Golden State 8

Hey, I warned you that they were not pretty.

You just cannot win with numbers like those. It is actually surprising that the Thunder were actually in this game right up until the final minute. But this team is not playing good ball at all. They lost to a watered down Memphis team last week at home, barely got by a terrible Sacramento Kings team on Saturday night, and dropped a dud of a performace again last night. The team has one more game on Tuesday night at home the Kings again before they start their All-Star break.

It really couldn't come at a much better time for Oklahoma City.

One more game and we get that break. Except for Kevin Durant, Serge Ibaka and hopefully Russell Westbrook - who will all be competing during All-Star weekend in various games and contests.

But other than that...
