The Oklahoma City Thunder could not continue their undefeated streak without the services of Kevin Durant, as they fell to the Toronto Raptors, 111-99. Wow, that just doesn't come off the tongue all that easily - saying that the Raptors were too much for anyone. Come to think of it, it really doesn't come off the keyboard all that much easier.

Durant missed his fourth game of the season with a lingering knee injury, and it appeared as if the Thunder simply ran out of gas in the second half. That triple overtime win over the New Jersey Nets on Wednesday night took too much out of them to have to play another road game without the NBA's leading scorer. It didn't help that Andrea Bargnani recorded his first double-double of the season for the Raptors as he finished with 26 points and 12 rebounds. The win improves Toronto's record to just 8-11, but they are 6-4 at home. Toronto falls to 13-7 for the year, but maintains an impressive 7-3 record away from home. Now, if they could just get healthy and play better at home, this will become the team we all expect.

Russell Westbrook had a decent game, but subpar for his standards this season. He finished the game with 20 points, 7 assists and 3 rebounds, which are all below his season averages. James Harden chipped in with 20 points coming off the bench in a losing effort, but he is quickly approaching top sixth man status.

Oklahoma City held a seven point lead at halftime, but their defense came out flat to start the third quarter. They were outscored 34-18 in that quarter, and that was enough to put the game out of reach for the Thunder, who fell to 3-1 in games where Durant does not play. That is still impressive considering he averages close to 30 points per game. They will hope to get him back when they host the Golden State Warriors on Sunday night.
